Celebrating The Essential Kerala: A 2026 Perspective

The Loka Kerala Sabha is celebrating yet another chapter of cultural coexistence. Malayalees are known for their adaptability to blend into foreign culture. Their skill and expertise are well acclaimed that makes them the most sought workforce across the globe. Keralites engage in a constant process of upskilling their unique employment potential. The love to treasure the rich and diverse culture of Kerala has inspired Malayalees to create a “Kerala” wherever life plants them. This uniqueness has helped in establishing countless Malayalee Associations in nations far and wide. These platforms instill the Malayalee consciousness in every child. Facilities are provided to learn Malayalam along with indigenous cultural and traditional practices of Kerala. Malayalees’s social and economic commitments to fellow citizens have inspired to carry out measures to empower the less fortunate and the underprivileged. Treasuring the malayalee in them has weaved a special bond of brotherhood among expatriates. This has made them responsible citizens inforeign lands.

Motherland is not mere nostalgia that is cherished by our people. They take every occasion to give back to the homeland that cherishes a collective bond of love and togetherness. Our expatriates have plunged into action during natural calamities and Covid times. The settlers abroad are enthusiastic to empower students and youth back home with nascent technical skills. This intellectual partnership labeled as think tank integration can foster sharing of expertise in science, technology and governance. Today the world is under severe duress of climate change, environmental and manmade catastrophes. There are grave concerns of growing inequality and uncertainties troubled with displacement and migration. Women and children bear the brunt of global unrest. The world needs more compassion, coexistence and humanity. The forthcoming Loka Kerala Sabha has serious responsibilities in this changed scenario. Let us take this opportunity to foster comradeship and reinforce humanity.
